  • AutoPacific discovered that almost 50% of three-row crossover and SUV buyers surveyed would contemplate purchasing an electric vehicle.
  • 8% of all three-row crossover shoppers surveyed fully intend to buy a full electric vehicle.
  • AutoPacific forecasts that the three-row crossover segment will reach nearly 400,000 units sold annually by the year 2029.

Three-row crossovers. The analyst group has just released its 2024 Future Vehicle Planner, revealing a significant number of people seeking three-row crossovers would consider an electric version.

They are scheduled to arrive in the following year.

AutoPacific may actually be onto something here.

Ford is discontinuing its three-row electric vehicle (EV) crossover.

The study also states that the ideal buyer for a three-row electric vehicle (EV) SUV is a single woman residing in a single-family home and driving fewer than 30 miles per day. This individual is cognizant of the necessity of home EV charging but does not perceive it as overly complicated (or has it already installed). She values the convenience offered by a three-row vehicle, is fond of the cutting-edge technology found in modern EVs, and appreciates the eco-friendliness of the car. However, she is unwilling to make any compromises to achieve these desired features.
